Buyers band clamps employ heat treated 1/4"-28 UNF-3A plated steel T-bolts with plated locknuts for excellent strength, weatherability and ease of assembly. A stainless steel welded liner closes the opening between clamp ends during tightening. A smooth inner band prevents hoses from being cut or bulging and allows greater torquing capability than conventional worm gear clamps. The band also assures equalized 360-degree clamping force around the hose for tight connections.
